Job title

I'm a genius of a SAP consultant (specialising in PASCAL, COBOL, C# and ABAP), my contribution to the world is job security, I make sure there's work for the next man (I LOOOVE bugs). My favourite machine is the IBM AS/400. See my CV (only in Danish)

Guess what !! , it's keeping the shit hanging together and making sure the customers pay for it and that my boss doesn't catch me sleeping whilst developing new programs !!

My musical taste

I'm a great fan of THE HUMAN LEAGUE and DEBORAH HARRY (Sigh).
But I also like Jean-Michel Jarre, Yello, Soft Cell, Kraftwerk, Kitaro,
Toyah Willcox, Abba, Ultravox, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, A Flock of seagulls, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Visage and Hazel O'Connor.

These are just examples of my taste, but as you can see, I'm mostly into the great '80's bands.

My literary taste

I read a lot of science fiction, my favourite authors are Robert A. Heinlein, Jules Verne, Robert Jordan, Isaac Asimov, Larry Niven and Orson Scott Card.

My configuration

My very first computer was a cheap clone of the Spectrum ZX machine called
Lambda 8300, it had the enormous amount of 2 K of memory (no, you did read it right, it was 2K). Since then (1979-81) I've had the following machines on my desk : Commodore 64, Amiga 1200, Dragon 32, IBM PS/2 Model 55SX, IBM PS/2 model 90 and last, but definitely not least, my current PC, a clone P1700 with 250 Gig's of disc and 512Mb of memory. (I still have the Dragon, Lambda, Amiga and C64 computers, they are very dear to me).

This and that

I'm for the time being (and time being very short indeed) 41 years of age (and lacking wisdom), I was born on the island of Amager (close to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark) on the 12 of May 1966 at 10.45 a.m., I have a HUGE collection of comics (presently more than 13300+, look at it and NOOO they are NOT for sale), I believe I will live to be 112 years old (or at least die trying). I also have an extensive collection of movies (more than 1200), most of 'em are Science Fiction related.

My name is Jimmy, nicknames are James, Jimse, Jip and My, I live in my own castle of an apartment (135 square meters/ 5 rooms) in the vicinity of the Central train station in Copenhagen (I have recently sold it !!!), together with my 2 cats (Ninus & Batman).

Sports

I run "a lot" in my spare time (see the statistics), I play pool on Mondays and badminton on Sundays. Whenever I'm in the mood for it, I pull out my Tour De France bicycle from the bedroom and takes a 40-80 kilometres trip on the Danish highways.
